Lisa Tulk studied saxophone and piano at the Royal Northern college of music where she graduated with a BMusHons and also a Professional performing award. During her career she has been lucky enough to have worked with some amazing musicians at some prestigious venues from Bridgewater Hall to Glastonbury. Starting out her career as a classically trained musician she quickly moved into jazz , funk and pop fields and has performed at the Manchester jazz festival recently showcasing her own compositions.
Lisa began her journey into singing and directing choirs almost ten years ago. She performs regularly in acoustic duos and has become a successful vocal coach and leader of vocal harmony groups. She writes and arranges the harmony parts for Voice to Voice and is an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher. Lisa believes everyone has a voice and deserves to experience how to use it in a positive and inclusive environment.
